Dr. Jeané graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa with a Bachelors in Medicine and a Bachelors in Surgery. She has been practicing medicine for over 24 years on 3 continents; Africa, United Kingdom, and North America. She holds medical licensures in South Africa and Canada. She is proud to call Calgary, Alberta and the Canadian Rocky Mountains home for the last 20+ years.

An exciting time in her career began in 2020 when she completed her certification in Age Management Medicine with the Age Management Medicine Group, also known as Personalized Medicine, Functional Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Longevity Medicine, or Preventative Medicine.

AMMG not only gave her the scientific evidence that she needed to transition her practice but in-turn it helped identify changes that she personally has incorporated in the strive for a healthy and fulfilling life going forward.

With over 9 years in the medical aesthetics industry and having trained with the industry leaders, Emilie brings a well rounded educational background and a passion for learning about advances in the medical aesthetics world to make her clients look and feel like their best selves. Emilie graduated with honours from the Esthetic Institute as a Medical Aesthetician and Advanced Laser Technician, specializing in facial and body contouring. Emilie’s most well-known certifications include Fotona SP Dynamis, CoolSculpting Masters, Inmode Face & Body Contouring and Microneedling.

It is Emilie’s passion for customer service and dedication to building a strong relationship with her clients, which sets her apart from the rest. Her professionalism and extensive knowledge of numerous skincare lines and treatments help her ensure that you have all the tools needed to maintain your desired results at home.

On her spare time, you can find Emilie at a hockey game (Go Flames!) or out camping & quadding, enjoying the outdoors with her friends, family and golden retriever, Benny.

Laura has been in the Medical Aesthetic industry for 11 years.

As an Advanced Laser Clinician she has been working with the gold standard of surgical laser systems, the Fotona SP Dynamis for over 8 years.

Her fully customized treatments are tailored to each and every client which ensures the best possible result with every session.

Her specialities include laser vein therapy, laser resurfacing, laser scar revision, laser blepharoplasty, laser lesion removal and more.

Utilizing Environ Skin Care is also one of the corner stones in her approach to achieving optimal long term Skin Health.

She believes strongly in empowering clients to make well informed decisions for themselves by offering educational and transparent consultations.

Zulu Medical Cosmetics was born out of Mark’s vision to provide patients with an incredible experience through a team of top-notch practitioners and state-of-the-art technology. In addition to his work here, Mark is also a certified financial planner. He has always been passionate about helping people unlock financial health. Now, with Zulu, Mark can extend that passion to helping people discover bodily health and wellness too.

When not fully engaged in the day to day activities, Mark likes to hit the ice for a fast-paced game of hockey. Mark is also fond of golf, as it allows him to take in the energizing beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Liona graduated as a registered nurse from Mount Royal University in 2010. Her continual desire to learn led to an array of nursing experience including surgical, emergency and aesthetics. She has found her niche in aesthetic nursing as it allows her to blend her detail oriented personality with her passions of beauty and wellness. Liona loves the multitude of modalities offered at Zulu to customize each treatment plan. Her goal is always to refresh and enhance your appearance to achieve natural results. She is passionate about making each client look and feel their best.

Outside of work she loves spending time with her dog Kingston, friends and family. She is a self proclaimed foodie. When not eating out at amazing restaurants you can find her cooking up amazing meals and baking at home. Liona loves to attend carnival every year in Trinidad and Tobago to dance and sing to her hearts content.

Leah began her nursing journey in Alberta after graduating in 2011. She was inspired to become a nurse by seeing a loved one’s journey through illness and realizing that nurses have a privilege to care for people in their most vulnerable times. Her compassionate nature and love of science, lifelong learning and progress are great foundations for her chosen profession.

Leah has developed her skills in 3 different fields of nursing, surgery, rheumatology, and neurology before starting her journey into the field of aesthetic medicine in 2020 with Eternal Beauty Institute and most recently Empire Medical. Now that she has joined the Zulu team she continues to expand her cosmetic experience and knowledge as well as developing a passion for precision medicine. Leah has always had an eye for aesthetics. She appreciates natural ratios and has a critical eye for detail when it comes to healthy faces and symmetry. 

At Zulu she is grateful to have Dr. Lombard as a mentor, and the support of the Zulu team to branch out her aesthetic knowledge. Cosmetic skills include in depth anatomical knowledge of the face for injecting neurotoxins, filler products and PRP. She has learned all about the skin as an organ and how to optimize skin health for incredible cosmetic benefits. 

Cosmetic services offered by Leah include neuromodulators (Botox, Nuceiva and Dysport), filler, PRP, exosomes via micro needling, micro needling with DP4 device & Beauty Booster, as well as body and facial contouring with Evolve, Evoke and Morpheus 8.

Leah is also our Precision Health Consultant and she assists Dr. Lombard with the functional health of our clients. This skill set involves administering Reviv intravenous infusions and intra-muscular injections, DNA testing and consultations, diet and exercise counselling, mindfulness sessions and general nursing support to clients for any of their concerns navigating health, wellness, and life.

In her free time Leah loves to cycle, swim, paint, read and write poetry. She is a devoted hockey mom and cat afficionado. She’s been known to whip up gourmet meals, just don’t ask her to bake dessert, that’s Amandas forte.

I’m your dedicated Client Care Coordinator in the world of medical cosmetics. My role is to ensure that your journey to beauty ,confidence and wellness is seamless and extraordinary. I bring a creative touch to everything I do. When I’m not assisting clients, you’ll often find me behind the camera lens , crafting visually appealing graphic designs or cuddled up on my couch with my cat watching Netflix. Just like our beloved cats, I’m here to provide comfort and support throughout your cosmetic and wellness journey. Outside of my hobbies I have a special interest for Computer Science and Genetics ,which I am currently completing my Bachelor in.
